DRAKE MUSIC PROJECT - March 2003

The Drake Music Project brought specialist musicians into the Highlands to work with various additional needs groups: children and adults. Also to train professional music teachers. With special teaching approaches, and some fantastic adapted instruments, everyone was able to make music together.

CHILDHOOD PROJECT -

The Childhood Project took place in three Highland venues where visual artists and drama workers worked with members of various ages in the communities.

Groups of children and young people met with older people in residential care and shared stories of childhood. This became the material for art work and drama which was exhibited & performed for everyone at the end of the development period. Projects were in Smithton, Alness and Fort William.
